Introduction
Columbus Higher Secondary School, having a proud
tradition of excellence in +2 education, is the outcome
of a group of professionals’ joint envisioned
endeavors who want to fill up the void of +2
education with value and result at a time.
Choosing an appropriate college may be a
challenge to both parents and students. The
adolescents of +2 are vulnerable to many
hazards. At the same time +2 is also a point

From the beginning of its
establishment, it has
assembly every Sunday.
Which gives a common
platform to all the faculty
members and students to
put forward their ideas.
Assembly is the place where
necessary official information
and week plans are
announced. We believe this
helps to accelerate and
trigger the leadership ability
of the students.
Columbus College has
formulated a student council
named ‘Columbus Prefect
Council’ which further gives
the interested pupil to take
part in the different co-curricular
activities. Prefect council has
become a good platform to
express their ideas, interest and
foster them to develop a good
leadership capacity.

The college is located in a sylvan retreat at Naya
Baneshwor, far away from the din and bustle of the city
in an atmosphere of solitude and tranquility, conducive
to mental concentration as the main appliance in

Dear Parents/Students,
With the stepping into the Twenty first
century, the educational institutions
must exert their proper leadership role
in the development of the educational
structures and programs capable of
meeting the Twenty First Century needs.
I feel proud in providing high internal
efficiency of the instructional program
securing 97% result in the HSEB
examination in the first year of its
inception in spite of all odds. I take
this opportunity to thank all the parents
and guardians who bestowed trust
upon us sending their wards to
Columbus in its very first year. Credit
goes to founders, faculty members,
well wishers and more to our esteemed
students in achieving this success.
